photographer. adventurer.
observer.
Sarah’s desire to fill her life with first-hand experiences embedded in foreign and unfamiliar cultures has led her to embark on countless trips all over the globe, for sometimes months at a time, capturing the subtle beauty and intriguing moments of the world as she wanders through it. Throughout her work, Sarah portrays a journalistic and unfiltered style which allow her images to tell a story far beyond that split second moment in time.
Sarah refined her photographic training at the RayKo Photo Center in San Francisco, the renowned Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico, and through the “On Assignment” program with National Geographic. Her work has been featured in numerous international publications, websites, and gallery exhibitions throughout San Francisco. Since 2014, she has been an Exclusive Photographer with Getty Images and iStock, licensing her work for editorial and commercial use worldwide.
One of the most defining experiences of Sarah's life was spending a month in Nepal as a volunteer documentary photographer with NEIO.org. The experience profoundly shaped both her perspective and her work, and the images she created there remain among her most treasured.
Sarah shoots with a Leica M9P and a 50/1.4 Summilux-M and 28/2.8 Elmarit-M lens.
